Our animals

Rayo (lightning) is our watchdog. Since he has been with us he is always aware of newcomers.
It is normal to see him following the tractor that drives, he watches over all operations done in the field, that is his favorite activity, (besides eating). He also like riding in the back of the pick-up on the way to the vineyards. -
Gilda is an African gray parrot, or Yaco. She is a very intelligent and talkative bird. We are encouraged and amused by her imitations, among which are the "good morning", "see you later", phones ringing ...

Tyson and Foreman are two Breton horses (Clydesdale or Percheron type).
In fact, they belong to the equestrian center, but have earned their presence in the daily life of the winery. They are responsible for pulling the buggy in which many of our visitors have the pleasure of riding our vineyards. Also, this summer had the privilege of pulling off the Plaza del Coso de Peñafiel bulls at the Fiestas de San Roque. -
In the pond of the winery, plus fish of various species, we have some new residents. For several months, we have three white ducks and three geese.
They're always mooching, especially the geese, who love bread and lettuce. To get our attention they peck at our shoelaces, so watch your feet! -
Blue is the other dog in the bodega. It's a Great Dane active and playful, although very large, and size is closer to a pony than a dog, it's still almost a baby, just two years, and it shows in their character and their desire to move all the time.
It's Alvaro Comenge's dog, but spends most of his days accompanying us in the bodega, playing with Ray and the rest of us.
