Now available in our online store "La Vid y los vinos españoles”, a complete study in winemaking written by Miguel Comenge and published in 1942.
Bodegas Comenge was inspired by Comenge Miguel, who was the father of the founder of the winery, Jaime Comenge. This book was the first scientific treaty on the state of winemaking in Spain, and is still used as a reference book agriculture, viticulture and enology studies at most major universities nationwide.
The name of the winery and our brands are in his honor, and to pay a heartfelt tribute was reprinted in 2005 and can now be purchased in our shop.
